The publisher TO Books has confirmed that the light novel The Condemned Villainess Goes Back in Time ( Danzaisareta Akuyaku Reijō wa, Gyakkō-shite Kanpekina Akujo o Mezasu ) will receive an anime adaptation. The work is written by Bakufu Narayama with illustrations by Ebisushi, but technical details have not yet been revealed.

The story follows Claudia, the daughter of a duke who suffers a family betrayal and ends up being sold to a brothel. After surviving in a hostile environment, she builds a new identity. However, her death changes everything by taking her back to the age of 14, with all her memories intact.

The series began on the Shosetsuka ni Naro in November 2020. It was later published in print in 2021 and achieved great popularity in Japan. Volume 10 will be released in April, reinforcing the continuation of the work.
Furthermore, the manga illustrated by Rato Kitaguni began in 2022 and already has eight volumes. The franchise has also surpassed 2 million copies in circulation, including digital versions.
