Therefore, Kaguya-sama: Love is War should be the last manga for which he was responsible for the artwork.
He added that he still plans to draw only as a relaxing hobby.
Furthermore, he emphasized that although Kaguya-sama: Love is War recently ended this Wednesday, it concluded with some pre-announcements, and he is working to deliver those announcements in the best way possible.

He also previously drew the manga Sayonara Piano Sonata, which Hikaru Sugii wrote. Earlier this year, Shueisha's Young Jump magazine held auditions for a new manga artist, offering the opportunity to work with Akasaka on a new manga.
The manga Kaguya-sama: Love is War debuted in Shueisha 's Miracle Jump in May 2015, but moved to Young Jump in March 2016. The series concluded this Wednesday.
Shueisha published the 27th volume of the manga on October 19th, and will publish the 28th volume on December 19th.
The third season of the anime adaptation premiered on April 9th.
