The broadcaster TV Asahi confirmed that the anime The Dangers in My Heart (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) will get a third season in 2027. The announcement was made during an official event by the broadcaster. In addition, character designer Masato Katsumata released a new promotional visual for the next season of the series.
The first season of the anime premiered in April 2023 on TV Asahi's NUMAnimation block. The HIDIVE platform streamed the episodes simultaneously with Japan. Netflix made the series available in several countries outside the United States and Canada.
Anime continues adaptation of the manga

The second season arrived in Japan in January 2024, again streaming on HIDIVE. The platform also released an English-dubbed version. Meanwhile, the franchise received a compilation film called The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie, which was shown in Japanese theaters in February.

The film surpassed 170,000 tickets sold in international screenings. The screenings took place in countries such as the United States, France, Germany, Italy, and regions of Asia and Latin America.
Synopsis

The Dangers in My Heart is a romantic comedy manga created by Norio Sakurai and published by Akita Shoten. It began serialization in Weekly Shonen Champion magazine in 2018 and later moved to the digital platform Manga Cross. Currently, the manga has 13 published volumes and will conclude with volume 14.
