TOHO has released a new ' trailer ' and promotional image for the anime The Deer King (Shika no Ou). According to the official website , the new film arrives in Japanese cinemas on September 10, 2021.

Synopsis:
The film tells the story of Van, a captain of a group of soldiers who hopes to die in the battle for his lands, against a numerous empire. However, instead of dying, Van is taken hostage and subsequently enslaved.
Finally, the film is based on the light novel by author Nahoko Uehashi , which has more than 1.5 million copies printed.
