Crunchyroll announced during its panel at Japan Expo that there will be an anime adaptation of the manga "The Demon Prince of Momochi House" (Momochi-san Chi no Ayakashi Ōji), written by Aya Shouoto.

In addition, the service also announced that it will stream the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States when the anime airs.

Himari Momochi will be voiced by Natsumi Kawaida, while Aoi Nanamori/Nue will be voiced by Takeo Ōtsuka.
The anime is being directed by Bob Shirohata (responsible for Hetalia and Hiiro no Kakera – The Tamayori Princess Saga) at Studio Drive. Mariko Oka (known for Hell Girl, Hetalia, and Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan) is responsible for character design, and Yasuko Aoki, from Studio Monado (who worked on Phantom of the Idol), will supervise the series scripts. Furthermore, the music will be composed by Ayana Tsujita (of Insect Land) and Tomoyuki Kono (of Romantic Killer).
Shouoto launched the work in Kadokawa's Asuka magazine in 2013 and concluded it in August 2019. It began serialization in February 2014 in the same magazine. Kadokawa published the 16th and final volume of the manga in October 2019.
