Kadokawa has revealed a promotional video confirming the anime adaptation of The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur novel . However, new details have not been revealed.

Synopsis
Awakening from magical stasis after a thousand years, Dark Lord Leonis suddenly finds himself in the body of a ten-year-old boy! He quickly meets Riselia, a girl who faces the Voids, creatures that almost exterminated humanity. Determined to unravel the mysteries of this strange new era, Leonis enrolls at Excalibur Academy, a school that trains students to fight these enigmatic monsters. Could the Void have some connection to Leonis' past?
The first volume of the novel was published in May 2019 , and Kadokawa will publish the eighth volume on October 25th this year.
