Kadokawa has released a promotional video confirming the anime adaptation of the light novel The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur . However, no further details have been revealed.

Synopsis
Awakening from magical stasis after a thousand years, the Dark Lord Leonis suddenly finds himself in the body of a ten-year-old boy! He quickly meets Riselia, a girl who faces the Hollows, creatures that nearly wiped out humanity. Determined to unravel the mysteries of this strange new era, Leonis enrolls in Excalibur Academy, a school that trains students to fight these enigmatic monsters. Could the Hollows have some connection to Leonis's past?
The first volume of the novel was published in May 2019, and Kadokawa will publish the eighth volume on October 25th of this year.
