A new promotional image for the anime The Detective is Already Dead (Tantei wa Mō, Shindeiru / Tanmoshi) has been revealed. According to the official website, the series arrives in July.

Manabu Kurihara is directing the anime at ENGI (Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!) while Umibouzu designs the characters.
Synopsis
The story follows the life of Kimihiko Kimitsuka, a young man who four years ago became an assistant to a mysterious detective known as “Siesta” during a plane hijacking. Together, Kimihiko and Siesta embarked on mind-bending adventures and explored the world while fighting a secret organization, but all of that ended when Siesta died.
Finally, The Detective is Already Dead novel began publishing in November 2019.
