We have revealed that the new anime The Detective is Already Dead will have 12 episodes. According to the official website, the series arrives on July 7th in Japan by studio ENGI.
Therefore, the anime is directed by Manabu Kurihara ( Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! ).

Synopsis
The story follows the life of Kimihiko Kimitsuka, a young man who four years ago became an assistant to a mysterious detective known as “Siesta” during a plane hijacking. Together, Kimihiko and Siesta embarked on mind-bending adventures and explored the world while fighting a secret organization, but all of that ended when Siesta died.
Finally, light novel began in November 2019.
