We've revealed that the new anime, The Detective is Already Dead, will have 12 episodes. According to the official website, the series will premiere in Japan on July 7th, produced by ENGI.

Therefore, the anime is directed by Manabu Kurihara ( Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! ).

Synopsis

The story follows Kimihiko Kimitsuka, a young man who four years ago became the assistant of a mysterious detective known as "Siesta" during a plane hijacking. Together, Kimihiko and Siesta embarked on mind-boggling adventures and explored the world while battling a secret organization, but all of that ended when Siesta died.

Finally, the light novel of The Detective is Already Dead began in November 2019.
