The official website for the Dorohedoro announced on Tuesday (09) that the anime will have a sequel as a streaming series, and revealed promotional art.

Therefore, the first season of the anime premiered on Netflix in January 2020 with 12 episodes. Netflix streamed the series outside of Japan in May 2020.
Synopsis
In a desolate city known only as "the Hole," a clan of sorcerers has been taking people off the streets to use as guinea pigs in experiments with the dark arts. In a dark alley, Nikaido found Caiman, a man with a reptile's head and a severe case of amnesia. To try and undo the spell, they hunt down and kill the Sorcerers of the Hole, hoping that eventually they will kill the right one. But when En, the Sorcerer chief, receives news that a lizard-man is killing his people, he sends a team of "cleaners" to the Hole, starting a war between two worlds.
Yuichiro Hayashi (Garo the Animation, Garo: Divine Flame, Kakegurui) directed the anime at studio MAPPA . Hiroshi Seko (Banana Fish, Mob Psycho 100, Vinland Saga) was in charge of series composition.
Finally, Tomohiro Kishi (91 Days, Garo -Vanishing Line-) designed the characters. [K]NoW_NAME (Sakura Quest, Fairy Gone) composed the music.
