The official website for the anime “The Elusive Samurai” (Nigejōzu no Wakagimi) revealed a promotional video and image for the character Shizuku, voiced by Hinaki Yano.

The anime will premiere in 2024, and will feature debut voice actress Asaki Yuikawa as Hojo Tokiyuki and Yūichi Nakamura as Suwa Yorishige.

Synopsis
After the massacre of his family by the traitor Ashikaga Takauji, Tokiyuki escapes with the help of a handful of faithful servants who also survived the purge. One of them is Suwa Yorishige, ally of the Hojo clan and lord of Suwa Province. The quirky Yorishige also claims to be clairvoyant and predicts that Tokiyuki will one day become ruler of Japan. But for now, escaping enemy territory is the priority!
Yusei Matsui (Majin Tantei Nōgami Neuro, Assassination Classroom) launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in January 2021, and the work is ongoing.
