During the Aniplex Online Fest 2023 event, the trailer for the new anime The Elusive Samurai ( Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi ) was revealed . Furthermore, the anime was given a projected premiere date of early 2024.

Synopsis:
Hôjô Tokiyuki, a young man destined to inherit the shogunate, loses everything: his family, his hometown, the supporters of his clan… The last survivor of his lineage, he becomes the most wanted fugitive in the region.
