For those unfamiliar, the manga tells the story of a young man transported to a fantasy world. However, as he tries to fulfill the role he's created for himself, his fiction begins to blur with the harsh reality of this new world. The story is a blend of comedy, action, and surprising twists that captivates readers and transports them to a universe where nothing is as it seems.
And there's more news! For anime fans, a sequel film called "The Eminence in Shadow – Lost Echoes" is in the works. This sequel promises to delve deeper into the protagonist's journey as a shadowy eminence.
Finally, Aizawa released the light novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro in May 2018, Kadokawa began publishing the story in physical volumes with art by Touzai in November 2018. Furthermore, Anri Sakano launched a manga adaptation in Kadokawa's Comp Ace magazine in December 2018.
