The manga written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Akira Akatsuki , Medaka Box comes to an end in issue 22-23 of Weekly Shounen Jump , from Japanese publisher Shueisha. The announcement was made by Manga News Japan and the last chapter will have a color page. The title has been published in the magazine for four years, now totaling 20 bound volumes. In April 2012, under the care of director Shouji Saeki and produced by studio Gainax, the manga received an anime version that had two seasons. The last chapter is scheduled for release on April 27th.
Synopsis: Kurokami Medaka, a freshman, is elected student council president at Hakoniwa High School, and the first thing she does is create a suggestion box. Accepting any request from anyone, she starts trying to solve the school students' problems on her own, and that's when she asks for help from her childhood friend Hitoyoshi Zenkichi. In the suggestion box you will find everything from the most ridiculous requests, to serious and important requests, such as problems at the Kendo club, cases of theft and organization of competitions, among others, the only ones capable of solving these more complicated requests will be Medaka and the Zenkichi (against his will), but how do they solve this? Then you'll have to see for yourself.
