Hello, my name is Bruna and I'm passionate about the world of anime and manga. I hope to contribute to the AnimeNew website.

The manga Medaka Box , created by writer Nisio Isin and illustrated by Akira Akatsuki , has had its ending confirmed in the double issue 22-23 of the Weekly Shounen Jump . The final chapter will be released on April 27th and will feature a color page to mark this conclusion.

Like other great works, Medaka Box had a remarkable run. The series debuted over four years, totaling 20 collected volumes. Furthermore, in 2012, the story received an anime adaptation by Studio Gainax, directed by Shouji Saeki, resulting in two action-packed seasons full of memorable moments.

An unconventional board chair

The plot revolves around Kurokami Medaka, an exemplary student who, newly elected president of the student council at Hakoniwa High School, decides to create a "suggestion box." The proposal seems simple, but eventually becomes the trigger for complex challenges, ranging from disciplinary problems to school mysteries.

Although reluctant, his childhood friend, Zenkichi Hitoyoshi, ends up getting involved in the investigations and solutions. After all, together they form an unusual duo capable of solving even the most absurd requests.

Medaka Box blends action, comedy, romance, and ecchi in a narrative that, while eccentric, has earned its place among shounen fans.
