DisneyPlus ' social media in Japan released a new trailer and image this Wednesday (10) of the anime SAND LAND: THE SERIES , specifically the final arc, adapting the continuation of the film.

So the adapted arc is 'The Story of the Angel Hero' (episodes 7–13) written by Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball). Episode 10 started airing today (10).

Sand Land Synopsis:

In the distant future, war has destroyed the entire Earth, leaving only a barren desert where the water supply is controlled by the greedy king. Searching for a long-lost lake, Sheriff Rao turned to the Demon King for help… and got the king's son, Beelzebub, and his assistant, Thief. But together, the unlikely trio sets out across the desert, facing dragons, bandits, and the deadliest enemy of all… the king's own army! It's a road trip adventure and tank-racing action in this new story from Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball Z!

Thus, the manga “Sand Land” is a short series that Toriyama serialized in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shonen Jump” magazine from May to August 2000. Finally, Shueisha published a compiled volume of the manga in November 2000.
