And after many theories created by fans who followed both franchises, Fire Force officially confirmed a connection to the creator's other work, Soul Eater .
We saw the appearance of Excalibur , a legendary character from the Soul Eater , and also the first witch . And with that comes the confirmation that Fire Force is, in fact, a prequel story set before the time of Soul Eater and that both took place in the same universe.
The main character, Maka , also makes an appearance in the final chapter of Fire Force .

The final message left on the last page is " Next is Soul World ," a reminder that the author said Fire Force would be his last work.
