The controversy arose on Twitter where, after the global release of the first episode, it trended on Twitter and sparked discussion between die-hard fans and otaku who knew nothing about the story.

Check out some of the comments:

"Does the protagonist only think about thighs? Wouldn't that be harassment?"

"My mom came into the room while he was staring at the girl's butt, I hate you anime."

"This story should be banned, forcing and embarrassing women to wear pantyhose!"

"He used his hero status to make her strip half-naked... Ridiculous, arrest the perpetrator!"

"I'm so angry at this anime that I wish the protagonist would just die forever."

"Dropped, this anime is proof that harassment is okay for men."

"This is an insult to women and pantyhose! L1x0!!!!"

It's worth remembering that the anime genre already includes Ecchi and Comedy .

Therefore, the direction is by Rion Kujou (Hagure Yuusha no Aesthetica, Asu no Yoichi!, Gunjou no Magmell, Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai!) at LIDEN FILMS , with production by WOWMAX.

Synopsis:

Far to the north of the world lies the Gate of Hell, a portal used by the Demon Lord to invade the human realm. Thanks to the legendary hero Shion Bladearts, wielder of Excalibur, and his loyal band of companions, the Gate was sealed and the demonic threat defeated. However, the seal was incomplete and began to weaken, allowing the demons to attack again. Concerned for the safety of his village, the selfish and perverted farmer Touka Scott digs traps to ward off demons. But fear not, for Shion is on his way to close the Gate of Hell once more and save humanity.

Therefore, Subaruichi began publishing the manga through Shogakukan 's Manga ONE in December 2014 and finished in December 2020 with a total of twenty compiled volumes published. This is the author's first and only registered work.
