Synopsis
Slam Dunk tells the story of Hanamichi Sakuragi, a delinquent high school student in love with the delicate Haruko Akagi, who introduces him to the world of basketball. From there, the clumsy character begins to engage with the sport, becoming part of a team, and developing as an athlete and a person.
Takehiko Inoue then published his iconic sports manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1990 to 1996, with a total of 31 volumes. The manga inspired an anime in 1993 and received four sequels in the form of animated films.
