Netflix will stream Tomb of the Fireflies (Hotaru no Haka) exclusively in over 190 countries (excluding the US and Japan) starting September 16, 2024.
Synopsis:
The story is set in the city of Kobe, Japan, the film tells the moving journey of two brothers, Seita and Setsuko, who fight to survive in the last months of World War II.
Finally, the film was released for the first time in 1988. Under the direction of Isao Takahata and produced by the acclaimed Studio Ghibli .
