The official website for the Volleyball “The Haikyu!!” announced the first promotional video . This new production is scheduled to premiere on Japanese TV in April 2014.
In the story of the author's manga “Haruichi Furudate”, a boy Hinata Shouyou , after watching a volleyball match, aims to become a “Little Giant”, and joins the volleyball club at his school, in elementary school.
After finding new members, they enter the high school tournament, where they meet the “King of the Court”, Kageyama Tobio. Even though they lost, Shoyou is still determined to reach the top and carry out his revenge against Kageyama. Upon entering high school, he receives a big surprise: he and Kageyama are in the same school and in the same club!
