Arc System Works and Bushiroad Games are releasing this Thursday (29) the demo of Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact for PC, a game based on the work of Yoshihiro Togashi. Developed by Arc System Works in partnership with Bushiroad Games, the title features 3 vs 3 team battles and promises intense action for fans of the anime. The initial version will include six playable characters and modes that allow you to experience both the battle system and the training system.

The companies will distribute the free demo via Steam before the official release of the full game, scheduled for July 17th. According to the producers, the goal is to offer a solid preview of the gameplay, which mixes fast-paced action and strategies based on the use of the Nen technique. In addition, the development team is also preparing a version for PlayStation 5, but has not yet set a release date.

The demo includes classic characters and training and battle modes

In the demo version, Gon, Killua, Leorio, Kurapika, Hisoka, and Netero will be available. These characters represent different fighting styles and categories of the Nen system, a trademark of the series. Each possesses unique abilities that, combined with other fighters, create unique strategies to win battles.

The available modes include direct battles against artificial intelligence or against other players, as well as a training area where it's possible to test strikes, combos, and special moves. This structure aims to attract both beginners and veterans of competitive fighting games.

Team-based gameplay promises intense and tactical combat

The combat system forms teams of three characters and requires the player to tactically choose their ideal formation. The mechanics of switching characters during combat and the coordinated use of abilities should favor well-balanced teams. Teamwork will be crucial in determining the winner of the matches.

Furthermore, the game will feature visual elements that recreate memorable scenes from the anime. The aesthetic fidelity and original soundtrack promise to enrich the experience for those who have followed the series for years. However, even in the demo, the 2D anime-style graphics already stand out for their quality and fluidity.

The official launch will take place in July with expanded content

The full version of Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact arrives on July 17th for PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. It will bring new characters, more stages, a story mode, and online ranked battles. Therefore, more classic fighters from the franchise are expected to join the roster, expanding the possibilities for team-based gameplay.

The story mode will be based on manga arcs and recreate iconic moments from the series in playable stages. In addition, there will also be a replay system to study previous fights and a tutorial area focused on learning the technical controls and mechanics. According to the developers, the additional content should make the game appealing to both casual fans and competitive players.
