I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World – The franchise has a new anime in production

Kadokawa revealed during the “Fantasia Bunko Daikanshasai Online 2023” live event that a new anime is in development for the novel “I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World” (Isekai de Cheat Skill o Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai o mo Musōsuru).

The event, however, did not reveal the format of the new project.

The first season of the anime premiered on April 6th and consisted of 13 episodes.

Synopsis

A door to another world opens before a boy who has been brutally bullied his entire life. This alternate reality then grants him access to all things, such as cheating abilities and a portal that allows him to travel between his old and new worlds! Can this class failure turn things around at home…?

The work has 3 million copies in circulation worldwide. The 14th volume of the light novel was released in Japan on June 20th. Finally, the fifth volume of the manga was released on August 25th.
