Synopsis
Rudger is Amanda Shuffleup's imaginary friend. No one else can see Rudger – until the evil Mr. Bunting arrives on Amanda's doorstep. Mr. Bunting hunts imaginaries. They even say he eats them. And now he's found Rudger. Soon, Rudger is alone, running through his imaginary life. He needs to find Amanda before Mr. Bunting catches him – and before Amanda forgets him and he disappears into nothingness. But how can an unreal boy be alone in the real world?
It's worth remembering that the studio delayed the film's release last year from its original summer 2022 release date due to “new challenges” arising from the film's production methods and the pandemic.
