The Kept Man of the Princess Knight Gets New Trailer

The anime The Kept Man of the Princess Knight (Himekishi-sama no Himo) unveiled its first full trailer, along with the opening theme performed by MYTH & ROID and new cast members. The video was presented by Kadokawa during the online event Dengeki Bunko Aki at Saiten Online 2026.

The preview also features “True-Taboo,” the new opening theme by MYTH & ROID.
Meanwhile, sajou no hana will perform the ending theme, “Gika.” The production also received new promotional artwork and confirmed three cast members: Rie Takahashi as Vanessa, Tetsu Inada as Dezu, and Rika Nagae as April.

Junichi Suwabe plays Matthew, while Mikako Komatsu voices Arwin. Chihiro Kumano directs the animation at studio BLADE, with Hisao Ishii handling character designs and Deko Akao in charge of the scripts.
Story of
The story follows Arwin, a knight known as the Crimson Princess, who explores a dungeon in search of a treasure that could rebuild her kingdom. By her side is Matthew, a man considered cowardly and useless by the townspeople, though no one knows his true abilities.
Finally, the new anime premieres in January 2027.
