The Japanese company SNK released a trailer for the game The King of Fighters XV , which confirmed its release for 2021, and also introduced the characters Shun'Ei , Kyo Kusanagi , Benimaru Nikaido , K ', Leona Heidern , and Mai Shiranui .
The King of Fighters XV was then announced during EVO 2019 , which is the largest fighting game tournament event.
