We have confirmation that the game The Last of Us will be adapted into a series by the HBO cable channel.
The project will involve collaboration from Mazin TV, who will produce and co-write the project, as well as Neil Druckmann , who directed the 2013 game and its sequel, scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 in May 2020. Production will be handled by Sony Pictures Television , and will also mark the first project of the PlayStation Productions .

Finally, the series entered the cinema circuit in 2016, produced by Sam Raimi , with Maisie Williams ( Game of Thrones ) slated to play Ellie.
