We have confirmation that the game The Last of Us will be adapted into a series by the HBO cable channel.
The project will involve collaboration from Mazin TV, who will produce and co-write the project, as well as Neil Druckmann, who directed the 2013 game and its sequel, scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 in May 2020. Production will be handled by Sony Pictures Television, and will also mark the first project of the PlayStation Productions.

Finally, the series entered the cinema circuit in 2016, produced by Sam Raimi , with Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) slated to play Ellie.
