The team behind the first live-action film based on Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura 's manga Kakegurui has revealed that the film will have a sequel premiering in Japan in 2021 .
The film is tentatively titled Eiga Kakegurui Part 2. Additionally, Tsutomu Hanabusa is returning to direct and write the screenplay, and Minato Takano is also contributing to the script.
The first live-action adaptation of Kakegurui therefore had a total of 10 episodes and premiered in Japan in January 2018.
