Synopsis

Miroku is a woman with a cut mouth, whose ear-to-ear smile inspires fear in the superstitious, but who would imagine that she had a fiancé? Once an infamous urban legend, the self-proclaimed "Queen of Folklore" sees her existence threatened by the declining public belief in her. She is also dragged into a contract marriage with Kouichi Sano, a 17-year-old boy belonging to a family responsible for the continued existence of the supernatural.

Miroku is not enthusiastic about the arrangement and wishes to regain her notoriety through her own means. For this reason, Sano makes his fiancée an offer: if she manages to scare him once before she turns 18, he will end the engagement. Miroku accepts these conditions, but is disturbed by the condition proposed by Sano—he must make her fall in love with him.

Kajimoto launched the series digitally on Shonen Jump+ in November 2020. Shueisha released volume 10 on November 2nd.
