The new July issue of Newtype will announce the start of production on the anime adaptation of Akuma no Riddle for 2014. The manga was created by Yun Kouga, creator of Loveless, and drawn by Sunao Minakata, which began being released in Newtype magazine in September of last year and Kadokawa will publish the first volume.
The story takes place at Myojo Academy, a private girls' school. All the 10th-grade students in Kurogumi Class are assassins targeting Haruka Ichinose. Tokaku Azuma is a recent transfer student who also targets Ichinose, but she gradually develops feelings for him. We look forward to seeing this new production, which will be released soon.
