10. Izaya Orihara – Durarara!
First, let's start with the well-known Izaya, an extremely intelligent , manipulative and calculating . His main goal is to create chaos and disorder in the city. He enjoys seeing people suffer and revels in the misfortune of others. He is known for being extremely cruel and merciless. Although his moral code is difficult to understand, Izaya is ultimately an extremely interesting character who adds complexity and depth to the anime.
9. Yu Ishigami – Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War
Yu is a delinquent with a calm and charming appearance, but he hides a dark side. Fearing no one, Yu is one of the best friends of Kaguya Shinomiya, the anime's other main character. Although she is very intelligent and has many followers, she trusts Yu completely, and he sometimes helps her out of trouble. Although he is a delinquent, he is extremely loyal to his friends and to Kaguya.
8. Kenji Harima – School Rumble
We have a slightly different definition of a delinquent in the anime School Rumble. Harima doesn't behave like one in the traditional Japanese sense. In fact, he's quite different from other delinquents. Although he's very strong and sees fighting as a pastime, he's extremely protective of his beloved, Tenma Tsukamoto, and is more than willing to do anything for her. At first, he wasn't interested in her, but his feelings changed over time, and he eventually fell in love with her.
7. Kusuo Saiki – Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan
Kusuo definitely crazy. With a wide range of powers, including telepathy and telekinesis, high school student Kusuo Saiki promised as a child that he would hide his ability to predict the future, but this talent continues to be a problem in his life.
6. Yusuke Urameshi – Yu Yu Hakusho
A somewhat captivating character for a generation of the 80s and 90s, Yusuke's life was transformed when he died heroically, sacrificing his own life to save that of a child who had been run over. Due to his heroic act, he was resurrected by King Enma, better known as Koenma, King Enma's son, and became a Spirit Detective. During his school days, he skipped classes, teased girls, and got into numerous fights with the neighborhood gangsters.
5. Ryuko Matoi – Kill la Kill
Continuing the list with the protagonist of this sensational work. On the other hand, she has a rather toxic demeanor, and this is evident in her behavior with those around her. She also speaks her mind, is aggressive, and always driven by rage. She's definitely a true delinquent, even though she's the heroine of Kill la Kill. By the way, this anime is very little known, so if you haven't watched it yet, do so now, as we highly recommend it!
4. Karma Akabane – Assassination Classroom
Now, a completely exotic and unique guy. Here, we see a student who could be considered a true genius, but that doesn't mean he's a good guy. Quite the opposite, as his egocentric personality makes him a real troublemaker, picking fights with classmates and teachers alike. Therefore, Karma is by far one of the best characters in the entire series and also one of the most delinquent students ever.
3. Ichigo Kurosaki – Bleach Anime
In the top 3, we'll talk about this guy who's one of the protagonists of a classic work. Ichigo was always a troublemaker, picking fights with every thug he could find. However, he was always a very kind and gentle guy, always trying to help everyone. Even so, his history of fighting and behavior at school make him a true outcast in the eyes of most.
2. Katsuki Bakugou – Boku no Hero Academia
Here, we see a very nervous and hot-tempered guy. Furthermore, Bakugo always bullied our beloved protagonist. In fact, he bullied a lot, and he never missed a chance to torment Deku. Even so, he was always very intelligent and never had any problems with his grades. But this bad temper makes everyone distance themselves from him and see him as nothing more than a delinquent!
1. Takemichi Hanagaki – Tokyo Revengers
And finally, let's talk about this anime, which is certainly one of the best in the opinion of some fans. Following Takemichi's entire trajectory was fantastic. It's worth noting that he's part of one of Japan's largest gangs and is therefore seen as a criminal. And even though he doesn't exhibit bad behavior at school, we can consider him a true delinquent.
