The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior – Manga Adaptation Canceled

The official Twitter of Ichijinsha Comic Zero Sum magazine revealed that the manga adaptation of " The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior " ( Higeki no Genkyou to naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Min no tame ni ) was canceled due to author Bunko Matsuura .

However, the announcement added that the publisher plans to continue the manga with a new serialization in some form, but has no concrete plans yet.

Tenichi, the author of the original light novel, also made an announcement about the cancellation, thanking Matsuura deeply for his work on the manga, and hoping that he can recover to do more work in the future.

Synopsis

Pride Royal Ivy is just eight years old when she realizes she has been reincarnated, destined to become the future evil queen and final boss of an otome game. She has it all in this new life: sharp wit, boss-level powers, and influence over the kingdom as crown princess.

Tenichi then began serializing the story on the website Shousetsuka ni Narou in April 2018, where it is still ongoing. Ichijinsha began publishing the story in print editions with illustrations by Suzunosuke, starting with the first volume in June 2019.

The publisher released the fifth volume on April 4th.

Finally, Matsuura launched the manga adaptation on the Zero-Sum Online in March 2020, and Ichijinsha published its third volume on January 31st.
