The Most Popular Anime Terms in Japan 2021

First of all, we all know that social media like Twitter has a strong influence on the market, as well as serving as a basis for research on what's trending in society. So, thinking about that, it's really curious that some works are still successful among the Japanese, as is the case with Yu-Gi-Oh!, which is in 7th place and surprised me a lot. Anyway, for those of you who are having trouble understanding the list, here are the names of the works:
- 10. Rebuild of Evangelion
- 09. World Trigger
- 08. Tokyo Revengers
- 07. Yu-Gi-Oh!
- 06. Attack On Titan
- 05. Gotoubun no Hanayome
- 04. My Hero Academia
- 03. Pokémon
- 02. Demon Slayer
- 01. Jujutsu Kaisen
Jujutsu Kaisen
First place went to Jujutsu Kaisen! Even though the anime was released in 2020 and has 24 episodes, it's still an astronomical success. Furthermore, this widespread popularity is undoubtedly due to the manga, which is going strong and has a fantastic story. On the other hand, it's also worth mentioning that we'll have a movie based on the series soon, on December 24th! These factors certainly influenced the ranking significantly!
