Fans can now see Netflix anime series of the second half of 2023, with action titles dominating the list – along with some intriguing surprises.

Netflix released the second half of its grand data report “What we watched: a Netflix engagement report” for July to December 2023. Therefore the report covers 99% of all views on the platform .
However for anime fans , the data reveals some cool results for the most watched series during this period, with “Baki Hanma season two” taking first place, followed by “My Happy Marriage: season one” and “Demon Slayer : Kimetsu no Yaiba: Entertainment District Arc” completing the list.

The first season of “ Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead ” was out of Netflix's anime list, surpassing “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off” in assisted hours (28.4 million against 22.5 million), but losing total views (calculated as hours assisted divided by duration). Although “My Happy Marriage” stood out as the only romantic title, surprising many with its excellent second position in terms of views. "Baki Hanma" leads in assisted hours, while "Demon Slayer" impresses even more with three titles in the top 10.
Therefore, in this total, 90 billion hours were watched on Netflix in the second half of 2023, a figure slightly lower than the 93 billion recorded from January to June.
