The Nintendo Switch 2 is now available and promises to elevate the gaming experience with a series of improvements. The console has a larger screen, expanded storage, and new controller functions. Its starting price is R$ 4499.90, and there are bundles with a game included. Expectations are high within the gaming community given the innovations presented by Nintendo.

Among the most talked-about features are the 4K resolution on the TV, the mouse mode on the Joy-Con controllers, and the three-dimensional sound. The console also offers multiple usage modes and significant improvements in connectivity. For fans of the brand, the new Switch marks an important transition. Its official arrival in the country reinforces Nintendo's commitment to the Brazilian market.

Larger screen and better image quality

Nintendo launched the Switch 2 with a 7.9-inch LCD screen that surpasses previous models in size and resolution. Now, the console offers Full HD 1080p resolution in handheld mode, providing sharper and more detailed images for players.

When connected to a television, the device achieves 4K resolution, with HDR support and up to 120 frames per second. This ensures a much smoother experience compared to previous models, ideal for titles that demand more graphical performance.

New Joy-Con controllers and unprecedented features

The new Joy-Con 2 controllers feature magnetic connectors, replacing the old sliding attachment system. This change makes connecting and removing the controllers easier, making them more practical to use.

One of the biggest innovations is the mouse mode, activated by positioning the controls sideways. This allows you to use any surface as a mousepad, expanding gameplay and navigation possibilities. Both controls can act as mice simultaneously.

The console can be used in three different ways. In TV mode, it can be connected to a television to enjoy games on a large screen. In semi-portable mode, the adjustable rear stand (up to 150 degrees) allows the console to be placed on various surfaces.

Portable mode remains, ideal for those who want to play anywhere. This versatility continues to be one of the hallmarks of the Switch line and has been improved in this new generation.

Internal storage and available expansions

With 256 GB of internal memory, the new Switch offers twice the storage space compared to the previous model. This means more room for games, updates, saved data, and additional content.

For those who need even more memory, there is compatibility with 256 GB microSD Express cards, sold separately. These cards offer faster read and write speeds, optimizing game loading and overall system performance.

The Nintendo Switch 2 also stands out for its significant audio improvements. Games now feature 3D spatial sound, providing a much more immersive and realistic experience. The built-in speakers and headphones reproduce a clearer, more natural and immersive sound, offering total immersion to the player in any environment.

Modern connectivity and accessory support

The new model includes two USB-C ports, one on the top and one on the bottom, which facilitates the simultaneous use of accessories and charging of the device.

Another new feature is the ability to connect a compatible camera via USB-C, allowing for video calls and online chat during gameplay. This function enhances social interaction and the console's connectivity.
