The Promised Neverland – Full trailer and theme song

The official live-action website for The Promised Neverland published the film's full trailer, revealing the theme song “Tadashiku Narenai” (loose translation: It Can't Be Right) by rock band Zutomayo.

The film was directed by Yuuchirou Hirakawa (live-action ERASED ). Noriko Gotou wrote the script. Hirakawa and Gotou worked together on the live-action Erased .

Cast

Minami Hanabe (19 years old) as Emma, ​​Jyo Kairi (13) as Ray and Rihito Itagaki (17) as Norman. Actress Keiko Kitagawa will play matriarch Isabella while Naomi Watanabe will play Krone.

Synopsis

Emma is an orphan who lives in an orphanage called Grace Field House along with her other adopted siblings. One night, Conny, one of the orphaned children, is sent to be adopted, but Emma realizes that she left her stuffed rabbit Bernie behind. Together with Norman, she goes after Conny, but ends up discovering the orphanage's dark secret.

The live-action film premieres on December 18.

Finally, author Kaiu Shirai and illustrator Posuka Demizu published the manga The Promised Neverland in Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump between August 2016 and June 2020, ending with 20 volumes. The anime from studio CloverWorks aired in 2019, with 12 episodes.
