The official website for “The Quintessential Quintuplets ∽”, a new special anime in the franchise, revealed this Thursday (4) that it will air on television in the summer and will be shown in Japanese cinemas for three weeks, starting from the July 14th .

Along with the announcement of the premiere date, the image below was made public:

Voice actresses Kana Hanazawa, Ayana Taketatsu, Miku Itō, Ayane Sakura and Inori Minase sing the opening theme song “Gotōbun no Mirai” and the ending theme song “Takaramono”. A CD with the songs will be released on July 12th, in addition, the CD will also include songs from the games “Gotōbun no Hanayome : Goto Pazu Story” and “Gotōbun no Hanayome : Kanojo to Kawasu Itsutsu no Yakusoku”.
Movie tickets will include a transparent card featuring the anime poster for a limited time.
The anime will, therefore, adapt stories that have not yet appeared in the franchise's previous animations.
Negi Haruba launched the original manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in August 2017 and ended the series in February 2020.
Therefore, the first season of the anime premiered in January 2019 and aired for 12 episodes. Finally, the second season of the anime aired from January 2021 to March 2021.
