Therefore, the author Negi Haruba created the new story and will supervise the anime depicting Futaro and the quintuplets' honeymoon trip. Further details about the new anime, such as format, staff, and release date, have not been revealed.
Synopsis The Quintessential Quintuplets:
"The Quintessential Quintuplets" is an anime and manga that revolves around the life of Futaro Uesugi, a financially struggling high school student. He is hired as a private tutor for the Nakano sisters, identical quintuplets who have below-average academic performance. However, the story unfolds around Futaro's efforts to help the sisters improve their grades and prepare for their university entrance exams.
The Nakano sisters are: Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki. Each of them has distinct and unique personalities. Throughout the series, Futaro faces challenges in getting closer to each sister, as they initially see him as an intruder in their lives.
Finally, the first season of the anime premiered in January 2019 and had 12 episodes. Furthermore, the second season of the anime aired from January to March 2021.
