The official website for “The Quintessential Quintuplets ∽”, a new anime special in the franchise, revealed on Thursday (4) that it will air on television in the summer and will be shown in Japanese cinemas for three weeks, starting on July 14 .

Along with the announcement of the premiere date, the image below was made public:
Voice actresses Kana Hanazawa, Ayana Taketatsu, Miku Itō, Ayane Sakura, and Inori Minase sing the opening theme song "Gotōbun no Mirai" and the ending theme song "Takaramono." A CD featuring the songs will be released on July 12th, and the CD will also include songs from the games "Gotōbun no Hanayome: Goto Pazu Story" and "Gotōbun no Hanayome: Kanojo to Kawasu Itsutsu no Yakusoku."
Movie tickets will include a clear card featuring the anime poster for a limited time.
The anime will therefore adapt stories that have not yet appeared in the franchise's previous animations.
Negi Haruba launched the original manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in August 2017 and ended the series in February 2020.
Thus, the first season of the anime premiered in January 2019 and aired for 12 episodes. Finally, the second season of the anime aired from January 2021 to March 2021.
