Studio Ghibli has released the first trailer for the animated film The Red Turtle, a co-production with the French studio Wild Bunch .

The Red Turtle will open the 40th Annecy Film Festival and will screen at the Cannes Film Festival. Its release is scheduled for June in France and September in Japan.
