The official website for the anime The Rising of the Shield Hero 2 , the second season of the anime The Rising of the Shield Hero, released a new promotional video for it this Saturday.
The website also revealed a new look:
The film is directed by Masato Jinbo at Kinema Citrus , with character design by Keigo Koyonagi .
Synopsis:
Naofumi Iwatani, an uncharismatic otaku who spends his days playing games and reading manga, suddenly finds himself summoned to a parallel universe. Iwatani discovers he is one of four heroes equipped with legendary weapons, tasked with saving the world from a terrible prophecy.
Crunchyroll announced in 2019 that The Rising of the Shield Hero would have a second season and a third in the future. However, this new season was delayed and was scheduled for October 2021.
