The Rising of the Shield Hero - Season 2 will have 13 episodes

The second season of the anime The Rising of the Shield Hero 2 ( Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari ) will have around 13 episodes. According to the official website , the series premieres on April 6th.

It is directed by Masato Jinbo Kinema Citrus studio , with character design by Keigo Koyonagi .

Synopsis:

Naofumi Iwatani, an uncharismatic otaku who spends his days playing games and manga, suddenly finds himself summoned to a parallel universe. Iwatani discovers he is one of four heroes equipped with legendary weapons, tasked with saving the world from a terrible prophecy.

Crunchyroll announced in 2019 that The Rising of the Shield Hero , a third season. However, this new season was delayed and was originally scheduled for October 2021.
