Furthermore, the new season is confirmed to premiere in October of this year. Directed by Hitoshi Haga at the Kinema Citrus studio, with composition and script by Keigo Koyanagi.
Synopsis
The story revolves around Naofumi Iwatani , an otaku who spends his days playing video games and reading manga. One day, Iwatami is suddenly summoned to a parallel universe! He discovers he is one of four heroes equipped with legendary weapons and tasked with saving the world from its prophesied destruction.
The first season of The Rising of the Shield Hero aired in 2019, consisting of 25 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the anime while it aired in Japan.
The Rising of the Shield Hero 2, the second season of the anime premiered on the AT-X channel on April 6, 2022.
