Author Chimaki Kuori launched a Saint Seiya spinoff manga, titled Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō, in the October issue of Champion RED , published by Akita Shoten . It begins after the classic main story by Masami Kurumada in the Saint Seiya manga.
Synopsis: The story takes place after the original events of Saint Seiya, but now Athena is protected by a woman named "Shô," from the constellation of Equuleus, a companion of Athena who is willing to sacrifice her life to protect her from those who dare to rise up against her.
