Chu, who was attached to the project, and finally hired a new screenwriter for the epic: Terry Rossio , the same one responsible for the box office flop of The Lone Ranger starring Johnny Depp. Let's hope we'll have a good film connected to this universe.
The new film, which does not yet have a release date, will be set in Eternia and will be faithful to the mythology presented in the cartoon. Unlike the classic 80s version, which featured none other than Dolph Lundgren as He-Man and had absolutely nothing to do with the classic series.
