The highly anticipated second season of Free! has been given the green light and will happen. The official Free! website revealed that the second season will premiere on Japanese television on July 2nd.
This season marks the arrival of a new character named Sosuke Yamazaki Rin 's best friend , he understands him very well. He has a strong personality and is extremely strict about everything related to swimming.
The group OLDCODEX will be responsible for the opening theme, which will be “Dried Up Youthful Fame,” and the ending theme, which will be “Future Fish,” performed by Nobunaga Shimazaki, Tatsuhisa Suzuki, Mamoru Miyano, Tsubasa Yonaga, and Daisuke Hirakawa.
Free! revolves around the character Haruka Nanase, a boy who has always loved being in the water and swimming. Before graduating from elementary school, he participated in a tournament with his swimming club colleagues (Makoto Tachibana, Hazuki Nagisa, and Rin Matsuoka). After winning, each went their separate ways.
