The official website for the "Shangri-La Frontier" anime has revealed the second promotional art, the theme song artists, additional cast members, and the October 1st premiere date for the adaptation.
FZMZ will perform the opening theme song “Broken Games”, and Chico will perform the ending theme song “Ace”.

The newly announced cast includes:
- Yumiri Hanamori as Psyger-100
- Sayaka Senbongi as Animalia
- Seiichirō Yamashita as Orcelott
Crunchyroll will stream the anime as soon as it airs.
Toshiyuki Kubooka is directing the anime at studio C2C with assistant director Hiroki Ikeshita, while Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is supervising and writing the series scripts. Ayumi Kurashima is serving as character designer and chief animation director. Monaca is composing the music.

Synopsis
Rakurou Hizutome, a second-year high school student, is only interested in one thing: finding "crappy games" and beating them. His gaming skills are unmatched, and no game is too bad for him. So, when he's introduced to the new VR game Shangri-La Frontier, he does what he does best: maxes out and skips the prologue to jump straight into the action. But will even a skilled gamer like Rakurou be able to uncover all the secrets Shangri-La Frontier hides?
