The world of manhwa anime adaptations are following the same accelerated pace. Meanwhile, successes like Solo Leveling , Tower of God , and True Beauty have opened doors for other popular Webtoon works to attract the attention of major studios. Now, according to Variety, Webtoon Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation have joined forces to produce ten adaptations, and The Stellar Swordmaster is already among the four confirmed titles.
The story follows Vlad , a young man from the poor alleys who dreams of becoming a knight. After being struck by a mysterious black lightning bolt, he begins to hear strange sounds coming from any object that resembles a sword. Furthermore, his friend Zemina fears that the new, superstitious bishop will accuse him of witchcraft. On the other hand, Vlad only wants to collect five gold coins to buy his own blade and change his life.
However, the slums are controlled by five dangerous bosses and manipulated by the Vayezid family, who maintain shadowy operations while an internal war looms. Thus, Vlad ends up involved in this conflict and begins his journey. The manhwa has been on hiatus since October and will return only in December 2025.
