The official website for the anime The Tale of Outcasts revealed that it will cover the entire story of the main manga.
The main voice actors of the anime are:
- Wisteria (Voice actor: Ayana Taketatsu)
- Marbas (Voice actor: Katsuyuki Konishi)
- Snow (Voice Actor: Ryota Osaka)
The main members of the technical team are:
- Director: Yasutaka Yamamoto
- Series composition: Kenichi Yamashita

Synopsis
This is the story of Wisteria, an orphan girl lost in the darkness, and Marbas, an immortal being who shares her loneliness. The unlikely companions met one quiet, uneventful night and set out together in search of the light. What begins as a chance encounter on the edge of the British Empire in the late 19th century soon becomes a full-fledged journey to find their place in the world.
The Tale of the Outcasts will premiere on Tokyo MX starting January 8th. It will then air on YTV and BS Fuji.
