Our beloved Aniplex posted a trailer for the third film of Madoka Magica The Movie -Rebellion- (Gekijō-ban Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magica Shinpen: Hangyaku no Monogatari), the video reveals details of the theatrical release in the United States later this winter.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie: The Rebellion Story , the third film in the series created by Gen Urobuchi (Fate/Zero, Psycho-Pass), would feature an original story, unlike the other two previous ones which were a summary of the TV series.
The feature film is directed by Akiyuki Shinbo and Yukihiro Miyamoto. The character designs are by Ume Aoki. Yuki Kajiura will provide the music. ClariS and Kalafina will perform the film's opening and ending themes, respectively. The animation will once again be done by SHAFT. The voice cast will reprise their respective roles.
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Shinpen: Hangyaku no Monogatari premieres on October 26th in theaters in Japan.
